Just as I'm starting to get active in Deviant Art, uploading drawings and all.. My (old and rather disused) scanner dies on me!

This is pretty sad. Won't be able to upload more drawings anytime soon. Well, time for a new scanner. I did manage to squeeze in three scans though, before it refused to scan anymore. Surprisingly, it's still able to print stuff.. Cranky

I think I'm doing good progress on Deviant Art! Have uploaded quite a bit, and now I have an avatar too!

Best of all, I've crossed the "first 15 comments received" milestone.. Hurray!

For now I'd just continue drawing, and hope my interest doesn't wane.

After 1249824897 days out of activity, I suddenly remembered that I do own a Deviant Art account! And so, I'm back here uploading. haha.

I have accumulated quite alot of 'un-uploaded' drawings now, in addition to the old ones. It's really such a chore to upload everything, so I guess I'd forgo all the old ones and just post my recent pieces, or old favorites.

Been more into using digital mediums recently! Have been progressively using more of it ever since I got my graphics tablet last Christmas. It's so much easier, and it allows for experimentation! Experimentation is good for people like me, who are bad with color mixing and co-ordination.

I'm still trying to figure out digital paintings though. A lot of unexplored functions.. like masking.. what is that??

It's been years since I've done traditional paintings. hope I can start again once I'm out of army! I think it's something that needs a lot more time and space.

I still have 2.5 months more of National Service to serve, sigh. 2.5 months could pass much faster. FYI all Singapore males are required to serve the army for a term of 2 years, much like the Israelis and the koreans. But that's 1 yr 10 months for me after a fitness reduction (: Either way I can't wait to regain my "Civilian" status.

Really need a break, thinking of taking a holiday to somewhere seasonal. Winter? Or autumn perhaps.

Currently working on a piece inspired that a drama I watched years back. It was my mom's favorite so I'm drawing it for her. Having lots of trouble drawing trees and leaves ): Really bad at drawing natural environment.
Will upload soon I hope.

Ok i think I'd start uploading my more recent drawings, I can't bring myself to start uploading all of them from years ago in chronological order. Stagnating is frustrating! Guess I'd just upload whatever I have that are completed and ready to be featured.

hello. just found out that deviant has this journal function thing. Man why is it so tedious to upload drawings! Getting kinda turned off by it. Bleh. About 40 more drawings to upload, and that's like... kinda alot? haha. I wish they could make the whole upload process easier. I think I'm just too lazy
